About Me

Lindsay Severns, LSCSW, LCSW, RPT

With a Masters in Clinical Social Work and more than 20 years of experience working with people across different treatment environments, I have seen first-hand the transformative power of counseling.

The counseling office is a sacred and protected space that can serve as a respite as we seek to tackle life’s many challenges and restore balance.

Many therapeutic practices and approaches can be helpful for healing, and I regularly mix Family Systems Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with creative techniques drawn from Expressive Art Therapy or Sand Tray Therapy which can allow for the needed distance to gain perspective when words fall short.

Each person’s story deserves a space to be understood with depth and compassion. My practice focuses on guiding you through the patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape your life. My fee is $170 for a 50 minute session, and I work with adolescent clients on into adults.

Areas of Focus

Anxiety, Obsessive and Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Depression, Grief & Loss, Spiritual Formation, Identity development, Relational Conflict

Therapeutic Models

Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy

I believe my primary role in counseling individuals is to hold a safe space, giving permission to reflect, heal, and transform. It is my privilege to come alongside you in this journey.

A space designed for healing

A calm, inviting space where you can feel safe, supported, and fully present throughout your therapy journey.

designed for healing

A calm, inviting space where you can feel safe, supported, and fully present throughout your therapy journey.

You were meant
to give your all,
and you were also meant
to be loved.
You were meant
to have meaningful connection
beyond what you feel
you are worthy of.

So have faith that unmerited favor
has been made available to you,
no matter the heartaches
broken friendships
have brought you.You are free to forgive
and you are also free
to heal.

You are worthy of love
no matter how anyone else
has made you feel.
